CERM Risk Insights #36

Dear Readers:

Joseph Schumpeter, the economist, popularized the term ‘creative destruction.’  A more contemporary iteration is by Clayton Christensen, Harvard business professor, who coined the term ‘disruptive innovation.’  I visited our local bookstore yesterday and was surprised how many business, technology, and even an outdoor magazine are focusing entire issues on ‘disruption.’

So, take a minute now and think about the following.   What changes are going in your company?  How about your profession, career, and job?  And, most importantly what are you doing about it to be nimble, resilient, and ultimately evolving.

We hope you enjoy this issue.  We look forward hearing from you.  Best
