CERM Risk Insights #46

Hello Readers:

Well the race is on to be the voice of ISO 9001:2015.  There are a lot of conflicting voices and points of view.  Some think that the major revisions to the standard won’t see the light of day in the final standard.  Some are advocating the changes and even going further with providing transition consulting.  Some CB’s are reputedly providing gap audits and offering opportunities for improvement to meet the ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

So, what should you do?  Global certification bodies are already offering advice.  BSI has a workshop called ISO Revisions: Risk on the Frontlines.  Bureau Veritas recently sponsored Dr. Nigel Croft’s (Chair of ISO 176) talk: ISO 9001:2015 – Maximizing Opportunities and Managing Risk Using the Management System.  The talk offers insights into the future of quality and management systems.  Then, you can check out our recent talk Risk Management & ISO 9001:2015 (Take a few seconds to load).

Lots of changes occurring.  So, we look forward hearing from you.  Best,

Greg Hutchins PE CERM | Quality + Engineering | CERM Academy | 800.COMPETE | 503.233.1012
