More than 1,000,000 companies are starting their risk journey as part of their ISO 9001 (2015) registration. We’re receiving basic questions like: “What is risk?,” What’s a risk inventory? ” and so on. We assumed that risk basics have been covered in a number of publications. Wrong! Making assumptions without data is always dangerous. And, we fell into this trap.
